Technology when I was a kid was way different than it is today. Do you remember those dial up noises every time you started the internet or when your parents started yelling at you because the phone wouldn't work at the same time the internet was in use? I do. 10-20 years ago we had ready use of technology but not everyone was plugged into their devices we had other things to do besides SnapChat and texting. I think technology has changed drastically in the last 10 years. Not only do we pay thousands of dollars a year on data but we stay plugged into some kind of device for who knows how long per day. Technology changing is both good and bad. We loose track of what we are using it for each day. Changes in technology such as the advancement of different devices such as medical technology or military technology has changed for the better because we can do so many innovative and the advancements we have made in medicine are impressive. We also use technology for the bad also, hours staring at a TV, computer or phone can impact us negatively. We know so much about technology now and we use it so regularly that it is nearly impossible to "unplug" ourselves. It sometimes takes over our lives and we can't put what are true skills are to test. Unplugging could help the society, we could spend less time using our devices and more time innovating and making our world a better place.
