My first blog is going to talk about Agora. The reason why I chose this topic is because Agora is a new concept in my own dictionary and I would like to tell you what is Agora specifically. First of all, Agora is a gathering place which is open in public space. The most famous agora is Agora of Athens. As in ancient Greece it was a place which people used to buy and sell things and discuss about many topics, like politics, current events, business, and other topics. Women used Agora for shopping.

The Roman Agora was famous in trading silk and it had got a series of shops. There is a little difference between Agora and Arena. Arena is an enclosed area unlike Agora which is an open area. Arena is used for entertainments and other public events.
